Spring Show results in awards

The FCA (Federation of Canadian Artists) Edmonton Chapter Spring Show and Sale occurred at my local Community League from May 23 -25, 2025. I sit on the board for the Edmonton Chapter as the Social Media Coordinator and have been busy these past few weeks promoting all the amazing work our members had on display in the show.

I’m pleased to share that I had two pieces in the show, “But First, We Play” and “But First, We Snack” - both of which were created for the Feminine Landscape exhibit at the Art Gallery of Alberta. I’m also extra pleased to share that my piece “But First, We Snack” took home both second place and People’s Choice awards! A very lovely surprise considering the calibre of work showcased in this exhibit.

I’m also happy to share that both “But First, We Play” and “But First, We Snack” have been accepted into the FCA 2025 Calendar Exhibition. This exhibit is hosted through the Federation of Canadian Artists and is a juried exhibit for national members.
