Whyte Avenue Art Walk 2025
The 2025 Whyte Avenue Art Walk was such a great success! This was my first year exhibiting (aside from that one year during Covid, which was indoors) and I had such a great experience. Many people found their way to my tucked-away-in-the-corner booth location (the amount of traffic surpassed my low expectations, to be honest), took the time to view my work and chat with me. I met new artists and because of our smaller location, we quickly became a small community ready to help one another out. It’s just another reason why I think Edmonton is one of the best cities for the arts.
Thank you to all who managed to come out last weekend to say hello, show their support and even purchase something. There were 460 exhibitors this year, making this one of the largest pop-up art walks in Canada, so your time at my booth was well appreciated.
Up next, Strathearn Art Walk is taking place September 6 & 7. I will have a booth this year featuring original artwork, “Snow Day” books and a greater selection of prints. I cannot wait to see everyone at this beauty of an outdoor art fair!
Myself in my booth on the morning of Day 1. Little did I know then how tired my feet would be by the end of Day 3.
